Paul was born into a musical home, with both his parents having advanced music degrees. His musical training started when he was four and wrote his first song at twelve years old. Paul's first performances would come at age 14 when he toured with his parents playing the drums for weddings and other various events.
Even though learning guitar at age twelve, he took it more serious once he got to college. He graduated with a degree in communications despite practicing guitar more than studying.
In 2008 Paul was invited to collaborate with a Grammy award winning producer and record label on music row in Nashville for 3 years.
